15. Period of recognition and renewal of license

(1) The period of recognition of license granted under rule 12, 13 or 14 shall be three years.

(2) Expiry of license granted under sub-rule (1) Within thirty-five days from the date of renewal, an application for renewal should be submitted to the committee by attaching two hundred rupees for the pesticide retailer's license, one thousand rupees for the pesticide spraying business license and two thousand rupees for the pesticide synthesizer license.

(3) If the license is renewed within thirty days from the date of expiry as per sub-rule (2), an additional three hundred rupees for the pesticide retailer's license, one thousand five hundred rupees for the license of the pesticide sprayer, and An additional three thousand rupees will have to be taken and renewed for the license to synthesize pesticides. The period of validity of the license thus renewed shall be two years.

(4) Licenses which are not renewed within the period as per sub-rule (3) shall automatically be cancelled.
